SYNOPSIS:
This course introduces students to the more advanced features of tables
and queries in Access. It includes tasks to modify tables, use operators
in queries, design advanced queries, and create query wizards. Students
will also learn how to use advanced query wizards and database utilities.
PREREQUISITES:
Users familiar with the basics of Access who want to design advanced tables
and custom queries.

THIS MODULE INCLUDES:
Modifying Tables
Inserting, renaming, and deleting columns; inserting lookup and hyperlink
columns.
Using Operators in Queries
Using comparison operators, And and Or conditions, the Between...And operator,
and wildcard characters.
Designing Advanced Queries
Setting top values in a query; creating a calculated field, a function
query, and a parameter query.
Creating Action Queries Creating
a make-table query, an update query, an append query, and a delete query.
Using Advanced Query Wizards
Using the Crosstab Query Wizard, the Find Duplicates Query Wizard, and
the Find Unmatched Query Wizard.
Using Database Utilities
Changing database properties, linking data to an Access table, importing
data, setting a database password, compacting a database.
