SYNOPSIS:
This course introduces students to the more advanced features in Access.
Tasks include using charts, subforms, other form techniques, and ActiveX
controls. Students will also learn how to work with indexes, replicate
databases, and use Access and the Internet.
PREREQUISITES:
Users familiar with the basics of Access who want to design charts and
subforms, use ActiveX controls, work with indexes, replicate databases,
and explore the Internet.

THIS MODULE INCLUDES:
Using Charts
Creating a chart, adding a chart to a report
and data labels to a chart, activating Microsoft Graph to edit, changing
the chart type and title, formatting the chart title, editing the chart
datasheet.
Using Subforms
Working with and creating subforms, editing the layout of a subform, displaying
in Datasheet view, adding a form header/footer, displaying a subform total.
Using Other Form Techniques
Viewing the properties of an object, changing a control property, adding
a logic control and a command button, saving a form as a report, creating
a form letter.
Using ActiveX Controls
Working with and registering ActiveX controls, adding and attaching an
ActiveX control.
Working with Indexes
Viewing and deleting indexes, creating a single and multiple field indexes,
creating a multiple key field.
Replicating Databases
Replicating a database, synchronizing database replicas, resolving
replication conflicts.
Using Access and the Internet
Working with hyperlinks; creating, inserting, editing, and deleting a
hyperlink field; hiding and displaying the Web toolbar; using the Publish
to the Web Wizard.
