This course covers basic skills needed to prepare worksheets for publication.
It includes tasks to format numbers, text, and cells. The student will
also learn how to work with columns and rows and use AutoFormat and Online
Help.
PREREQUISITES:
Users familiar with the basics of Excel 2003 who want to create professional
worksheets.

THIS MODULE INCLUDES:
Formatting Numbers
Formatting numbers; using the currency, percent, and comma style;
increasing and decreasing decimal places.
Formatting Text
Changing text appearance; using the Font and Font Size list, and
the bold, italic, underline, and font colour button; rotating, wrapping,
and shrinking text in a cell; merging cells into one cell; increasing
and decreasing the indent of text.
Working with Columns and Rows
Selecting columns and rows; changing column widths and row height; adjusting
columns automatically; hiding, unhiding, inserting, and deleting rows
and columns.
Formatting Cells
Changing cell appearance; using the align right, align left, center, merge
and center, borders, fill colour, and format painter buttons; copying
to non-adjacent cells; clearing formats; using conditional formats; changing,
adding, and deleting conditional formats.
Using AutoFormat
Applying an AutoFormat and changing AutoFormat options.
