MODULE 1 - MICROSOFT OUTLOOK BASICS I

SYNOPSIS:
This course provides an introduction to Microsoft Outlook. The student will learn Outlook basics, use the Office Assistant and Outlook messaging. The student will also learn how to schedule with the Calendar.

PREREQUISITES:
Users familiar with Windows 2000/XP who want to learn the basics of Outlook 2003.

l Scheduling with Calendar

DURATION:
Half Day

THIS MODULE INCLUDES:

Learning Outlook Basics
Starting and closing Outlook, using the Outlook Interface and the Outlook Bar, displaying the Folder list.

Using the Office Assistant
Using the Office Assistant; finding an Answer, selecting an Assistant, changing Assistant options, hiding the Assistant.

Using Outlook Messaging
Using Outlook's E-mail features; showing the Mail Outlook Bar; changing Mail folder views; sending, delivering/receiving, viewing sent, replying to, forwarding, deleting, and moving messages; viewing items in the Outbox; printing from the Information Viewer and Message window; emptying Deleted Items.

Scheduling with the Calendar
Using and navigating the Calendar; using AutoDate; scheduling an appointment, an Event, and a meeting; responding to and checking responses to Meeting Requests; setting items as recurring; changing the view; editing, moving, and deleting Calendar items; printing Calendar information.
