SYNOPSIS:
This course covers working with Outlook messages. The student will learn
how to use Outlook message windows and features and the address book.
The student will also learn how to work with messages, insert message
components, and format Outlook messages.
PREREQUISITES:
Users who are familiar with Windows 2000/XP and want to learn more about Outlook
components.

THIS MODULE INCLUDES:
Using Message Windows
Opening a message window; displaying and hiding fields, toolbars and rulers;
flagging and addressing messages; changing message window views; using
the navigation buttons.
Using the Address Book
Using opening, deleting names from and selecting the address book; selecting
an address; adding to the personal address book; setting address book
options; finding an address book entry; viewing entry properties.
Working with Messages
Finding and replacing text; setting message options; correcting errors
as you type; checking spelling and grammar and word count; using the thesaurus;
creating an AutoSignature; saving a message.
Inserting Message Components
Inserting breaks, an AutoText entry, a symbol, a comment, a table,
a picture and a file; saving a file attachment.
Formatting Outlook Messages
Formatting Outlook messages, applying styles, changing the font and
font size, modifying character formats, aligning paragraphs, creating
a bulleted and numbered list.
Using Outlook Messaging Features
Setting message tracking options, viewing tracking notification and message
delivery status, recalling messages, creating message templates and messages
from templates, deleting message templates, using remote mail and the
remote mail toolbar.
