MODULE 2 - ENHANCING A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION

SYNOPSIS:
This course introduces presentation techniques. It includes tasks to format and edit text; arrange, move, copy, and view slides; edit multiple presentations; use clip art; and create notes pages. The student will also learn how to use online Help.

PREREQUISITES:
Users familiar with the basics of PowerPoint 2003 who want to modify slides, use clip art, and create notes and handouts.

THIS MODULE INCLUDES:

Formatting and Editing Text
Applying design templates, using the Style Checker; formatting text and bullets; using the Format Painter, the Undo feature, and the Undo list; displaying the rulers; adding a tab stop; copying and moving text between slides; deleting slide items.

Using Clip Art
Using, inserting, repositioning, cropping, and resizing clip art; using AutoClipArt.

Using Slide Sorter View
Switching to Slide Sorter view; selecting multiple slides; moving, duplicating, copying and deleting slides.

Using Slide Show View
Running and ending a slide show, displaying the shortcut menu, navigating to a slide, using the pen to annotate, changing the pen colour, adding speaker notes and action items.

Using Notes Page View
Switching to Notes Page view; adding a note to a slide; editing a slide object and text in a notes box; formatting, resizing, and moving a notes box.

Editing Multiple Presentations
Viewing multiple presentations, copying text between windows, copying and moving slides between windows.

Using Online Help
Using online Help, Help Contents, the Help Index, and Help Find; viewing ScreenTips Viewing multiple presentations, copying text between windows, copying and moving slides between windows.
