This course covers formatting documents. It includes tasks on character,
paragraph, and document formatting; setting tabs; indenting paragraphs;
and using numbers and bullets. The student will also learn how to use
online Help.
PREREQUISITES:
Users who know the basics of Word 2003 and need to learn the basics of formatting
a document.

THIS MODULE INCLUDES:
Using Character Formatting
Formatting characters; changing an existing font, the font format,
and character case; modifying the font size; underlining text; using font
effects; copying character formats.
Using Paragraph Formatting
Formatting and aligning paragraphs, modifying paragraph and line spacing,
copying paragraph formats.
Using Document Formatting
Formatting documents; inserting and removing a manual page break; changing
document margins, page orientation, and paper size.
Setting Tabs
Setting and removing tab stops; setting a left-aligned, a center,
a right-aligned, and a decimal tab; clearing all tabs; creating a leader
tab.
Indenting Paragraphs
Creating a left, hanging, and right indent; indenting the first line.
Using Numbers and Bullets
Creating a numbered and bulleted list, adding numbers and bullets
to text, deleting and adding a numbered item, removing numbers and bullets
from text, changing bullets and numbers.
