SYNOPSIS:
This course covers working with long documents. Tasks include formatting
long documents, creating a table of contents and using bookmarks and notes.
Students will also learn how to use comments, create a table of authorities,
work with headers and footers and section breaks.
PREREQUISITES:
Users who know the basics of Word and want to work with long documents.

THIS MODULE INCLUDES:
Formatting Long Documents
Inserting a section break, storing text flow options in a style,
entering and inserting summary information, using the Document Map, using
AutoSummarize, and alternating headers/footers.
Working with Headers & Footers
Creating headers and footers, inserting page numbers and the current
date, creating first page headers and footers, alternating headers and
footers.
Using Section Breaks
Working with, removing, and modifying section breaks; inserting a Next
page, Continuous, and Odd/Even page breaks; formatting a section; inserting
breaks automatically.
Creating a Table of Contents
Using, generating, and updating a table of contents; using custom styles;
viewing the {TOC} field codes; inserting {TC} field codes Using Bookmarks
Working with bookmarks; creating, viewing, and deleting bookmarks; going
to a bookmark; cross referencing a bookmark.
Using Comments
Working with comments; inserting, viewing, printing, and deleting comments;
inserting comment text.
Creating a Table of Authorities
Using, creating, and updating a table of authorities; marking citations;
marking short citations; finding the next citation; viewing the {TOA}
field code.
